After four months of standing ovations and sold-out shows at Off-Broadway’s Manhattan Ensemble Theater, Tovah Feldshuh’s Tony Nominated, Drama Desk, and Lucille Lortel-Award winning performance of Goldas Balcony played at Broadway’s Helen Hayes Theatre and became the longest running one-woman show in the history of the Great White Way.

Since then, Ms. Feldshuh has won awards all over the United States and abroad for her riveting portrait of Israel’s fourth Prime Minister, Golda Meir (1969-1973), and the last masterpiece from William Gibson (The Miracle Worker).

From the pogroms of Russia to the halls of the Knesset, the story of Golda Meir is the story of the state of Israel in the 20th Century.

Director Scott Schwartz (The Castle, Bat Boy, and tick tick... Boom!) directs, following his "Best Director" nomination from the Outer Critics Circle for The Castle at Manhattan Ensemble Theater last season.
